Transport and logistics company, Bedfords Group have added 14 MAN TopUsed TGX tractor units to their fleet of trucks.
Based in Birstall, West Yorkshire and Milton Keynes, the haulage company are replacing a number of their current vehicles with the 2012 registered, 26-tonne TGX 6x2/2 BLS models that were acquired under MAN’s TopUsed offer.
The new delivery of MAN trucks include are powered by 12.4-litre, six-cylinder engines delivery 440bhp, with TipMatic transmission and are also fitted with XLX cabs.
Bedfords Group Managing Director, Lee Nicholls commented: “This is the first time that Bedfords Group have acquired MAN vehicles, the deal we were presented with was very attractive as it offers great clarity over cost control and direct cost elements.
During the new year we will be taking the time to carry out a full fleet review, as part of that we will also be seeking driver evaluations – we don’t however see the TopUsed vehicles diminishing and are confident that these are an excellent choice of truck for our 24/7 business”.
